The Legado release has been created in celebration of the famous brand’s 175th anniversary, having been established by Jaime Partagás Ravelo in 1845. Legado translates into English as Legacy and, as a testimony to its founder’s belief in the importance of the raw material used to roll his cigars, Partagás still selects all its leaf from the Vuelta Abajo tobacco region in Cuba.

In the factories of Cuba this vitola (cigar size) is known as a Hermoso No.2 and measures 6 1/8” (157mm) x 48 ring gauge.
